LUMIN V1 pairs with TuneBuds, our partner app, free on iOS and Android. It handles your gallery, music and audio settings, and how the glasses behave. LUMIN V2, arriving later this year, will have its own dedicated standalone app.
Ask a question out loud and LUMIN captures the view from the built-in cameras, so the assistant answers about what's actually in front of you. The reply comes back through the open-ear speakers a couple of seconds later. It only looks when you ask it to.
Open-ear speakers direct sound down towards your ear rather than sealing it in. At normal volume in most settings it stays with you — turn it right up in a quiet room and someone close by may catch a little.
Yes. A capture indicator lights on the front of the frame whenever a photo or video is being taken, so the people around you can see it. Please use LUMIN considerately, and follow local rules on recording.
The frames take standard prescription lenses fitted by your optician. Bring your LUMIN and your prescription — the frame shape is designed to accept them.
